We are florists passionate about making all aspects of the wedding experience the absolute best.

We have overcome hurricanes, freezing temperatures, dangerous heat, well-intentioned family members, not-so-well-intentioned family members, and a host of other obstacles that threatened our clients’ vision. And we have won. Every time. How do we do it? We focus on the solution, not the challenge. Thus was born the motto we recite to each other every day—Make it work.

Michelle Maslowski

Owner/Creative Director

Michelle started her career as a lawyer, but could not resist the pull of her family’s legacy—flowers! A third-generation florist, some of her earliest childhood memories include processing flowers at her grandmother’s shop in northern Indiana. She grew her love of flowers working along side her mom in creating amazing wedding florals for couples all over Indiana. Ask her and she will tell you that she was trained by the best! She brings her passion and years of experience in this art to the Owner/Creative Director role for One of a Kind Events.

Favorite flower: Peonies (for the moment—it’s always changing!). Other favorites include: Leonidas roses, Juliet garden roses, and Fritillaria.

Favorite place in the world: Paris. I lived there as a kid for a while and I have never outgrown my love for that city!

Current obsessions: My coffee-infused face exfoliant, redecorating my house, and binge-watching my show du jour on Netflix!

Relaxation must: A good book and a glass of dry red wine that allows me to escape for a few minutes!
